Our summer musical theatre project will take place from 16 – 21 August.
From Monday to Friday we will work from 10.00 – 5.00 (participants may arrive earlier by negotiation). On Saturday we start later – at 1.00 p.m. and the weeke ends with a performance on the Saturday evening.
The participants are expected to bring a packed lunch, and will be supervised throughout. The aim is to have a fun holiday week, with a purpose. Experience of musical theatre is not necessary – enthusiasm and a sense of humour is helpful! It is an intensive week.
The leaders of the course – Amanda Laidler and Andrew Holtom are both registered theatre chaperones and have extensive experience of directing and teaching young people. Please see attached information. Together they lead Young Rogues and Vagabonds, a musical theatre company for young people, which meets in Stratford on most Friday evenings. They have both worked for several years on the Hadland School of Dance Summer School (and will be doing so again from 19 - 13 August).
The cost for the week is £125.00 for the first child. There will be a £10 reduction for each other sibling. This includes squash, biscuits, and two tickets for the performance.
A non-refundable deposit of £25 is payable on application and the balance is payable by Monday 16th August 2010.
Please download an application form and return it to Young Rogues and Vagabonds, c/o Rectory Cottage, Epwell, Nr Banbury, Oxon, OX15 6LG
